After battling injuries, hangovers, and sun burn, Fear finished the Savannah tourney at 2nd place with a tough loss to Columbia Old Grey in the finals.
Fear implemented their efficient strategy of “warm up as you play the first 5 minutes.” Columbia scored and Fear answered right back with a sneaky NotBender try. In the second half Columbia regrouped and implemented an effective pick and go strategy. They capitalized on Fear’s misfortunes, scoring two more tries and Fear couldn’t quite answer back. It was a hard fought match.
A big shout out goes to our Marshall and Fort Bragg fill-ins. They came in and played hard.
Fear plays a very important match against Chapel Hill in enemy territory in 2 weeks (March 26th).
See everyone at practice on Tuesday.
